I'm really curious to ask, Is there anyone else out here that feels nostalgically attached to any ROM Hack? My version of that is Brown. He used to say that a tool for it hadn't been released yet so there was no possibility and now I see every GBA hack, regardless of the base used having a gorgeous day and night system. I remember when people kept asking Zel 2.0 (the Original creator of Shiny Gold.) about whether a day and night system was possible.

Everytime I look at these polished hacks it reminds me about how far you, the developers have come. Ever since then, I've been keeping up with ROM Hacks and man oh man. Naranja in particular stood out to me because I was a fanatic of the Kanto, Orange and Johto Arc of the anime and to find a game in which you could play as Ash was so dope. I explored every nook and corner possible and even though I couldn't progress I kept restarting them because of how much more I enjoyed them. Being a child, I didn't know what a 'Beta' meant and I assumed that both of these were full versions. I learnt how to patch and spent countess hours on both of these Hacks.

This lead to another and somehow I found myself on the Pokecommunity and it was over there that I found Pokemon Naranja.Ī game based on the orange islands. So I started googling up Pokemon Gold ROMS and somehow, I stumbled upon countless videos showing of a Pokemon game which was based on Pokemon gold but had GBA graphics. One day, by chance, my father deleted my ROM folder. I'm an ardent fan of gen 2 and back then as a child I remember replaying gold version numerous times on an emulator called Rew GBC. Shiny was my introduction to the world of ROM Hacks and Fanmade games. Well for me it's draw between Pokemon Shiny Gold (Not sigma) and Naranja.
